Hey folks..... Im writing this trip report from Seattle.
We still have one more day to go, but I figured I could always add to this if need be.
So here goes.... these are the restaurants YOU SHOULD NOT MISS if you take a trip to Seattle...
1.
Our absolute favorite was a restaurant called Cactus.
Its in the Madison Park area. OMG.... the food is awesome. It's upscale Mexican food with the best Margaritas I've ever had (have the supreme). The service was perfect... see if you can ask for Allison. Also see if you could sit outside.
Rachel Ray suggested this on her travel show and she was so on target with this one... I mean it !! Don't miss this wonderful little place.
If you're staying downtown either take a cab or take the number 11 bus at pike and 4th.
By bus its a 15 minute ride... by cab, probably 10 minutes.

2. Another quaint and wonderful Place is called Cafe Campagne in the Park Place Market. Please don't confuse this with Campagne which
is a lot more expensive and upscale. Cafe Campagne has reasonable prices and excellent food and wine.
We had sauteed Calamari in garlic and white wine sauce. OMG !!!
It was the best. Even the bread was to die for.
Don't miss this wonderful find. Especially if you're looking for something romantic. Plus, you won't break the bank. 1600 post alley...(206) 728-2233
3. For Breakfast.... in pike place Market.... The Crumpet Shop. Just Go !!! Don't miss it !!! Order the Classic Crumpet.... honey and butter.
An absolute taste experience.

4. Elliots.... for Oysters and Salmon..
we Really loved Elliots..... I wasn't daring enough to try the raw Oysters, but
I might tomorrow night :-) My husbands Salmon was amazing. I had Oysters Rockerfeller and they were wondefrul.....

5. Steel head Diner in Pike Place Market.... We had some appetizers here and
they were wonderful... Ask for the smoked salmon and the fried cheese.
We didn't try their entrees but I'm positive that you can't go wrong here...
Don't let the word Diner throw you off.... This is a really nice restaurant with a full bar.
